Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous management experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to manage and lead staff effectively
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations including OSHA and NAVOSH
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to work full-time
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Hospitality management certification preferred
- At least three years of management experience
- Knowledge of hotel operations including housekeeping standards
- Basic computer skills
- Prior experience with property management systems preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Manage housekeeping department, laundry operations, and custodial staff
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facility adhering to Inns of the Corps standards
- Supervise, train, and evaluate housekeeping and custodial employees
- Maintain inventory of guest room supplies and staff uniforms
- Conduct guest room and facility inspections
- Provide world class customer service and promptly address guest inquiries
- Monitor departmental budget and oversee maintenance and repair requests
