The position available is for an Overnight Lobby Attendant. This job requires a strong focus on cleanliness tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces including floors, furniture, restrooms, and elevators. In addition to housekeeping duties, the Overnight Lobby Attendant acts as a point of contact for guests in the lobby, addressing inquiries and requests with professionalism and attentiveness. They must uphold safety standards and company policies to provide a secure environment for both guests and staff. This position demands an individual who is physically agile, can work with minimal supervision, and is capable of multitasking between cleaning responsibilities and guest service. The role includes regular deep-cleaning projects and monitoring the condition of furniture or equipment, reporting any damages to management.
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in housekeeping or lobby attendant roles, exhibit a professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (a second language is beneficial). They should be able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends, and have the physical ability for tasks involving lifting, pushing, bending, and prolonged standing or walking. Job Requirements
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment
- Previous housekeeping or lobby attendant experience preferred
- Able to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Able to focus attention on guest needs
- Adhere to safety, rules, and company policies
- Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and responding to the concerns and issues raised by guests
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/machinery
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous housekeeping or lobby attendant experience preferred
- Ability to communicate in the English language

Job Duties
- Provide upkeep to the lobby areas to ensure they are clean and presentable
- Clean and sanitize all lobby and public spaces, including floors, furniture, restrooms, hallways, and elevators
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as needed
- Replenish supplies in public restrooms and lobby areas
- Maintain housekeeping closets and storage areas in an organized manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, and exterior hallways
- Inspect the condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages
- Ability to assist guests with inquiries and requests while in the lobby
- Ability to keep the back area of Front Desk neat and clean
- Ability to complete special projects, as assigned, including regular deep cleaning
- Ensure that the hotel, guests, and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
