The role of a Full-Time Hotel Lobby Attendant is integral to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere and high standards Marriott is recognized for. This position primarily involves ensuring the cleanliness and orderly condition of the hotel lobby and public spaces during PM hours, including weekends and holidays, with a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. The Lobby Attendant is responsible for cleaning various areas such as the lobby, public restrooms, pool and exercise rooms, guest laundry, offices, break rooms, and more. Beyond cleaning duties, the role includes guest interaction tasks such as answering questions, accommodating special requests, and supporting the maintenance department by helping resolve guest complaints.

This role requires a proactive and self-managed individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and values teamwork. The Lobby Attendant not only contributes to the visual appeal and hygiene of the hotel but also assists in maintaining safety and compliance, such as checking pool chemical levels and following emergency procedures. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of lobby areas by cleaning glass doors and registration desk and running vacuum cleaner
  • Clean public restrooms including sinks, toilets, and mopping floors, replenishing supplies as needed
  • Replenish supplies in pool area, take out trash, clean glass doors and tables, check spa water and bromine levels
  • Clean exercise room mirrors and equipment, take out trash, run vacuum, and clean glass doors
  • Water outdoor plants around the hotel as applicable
  • Clean guest laundry area including washers and dryers, tables, and floors
  • Assist with excessive laundry as needed
  • General cleaning of offices and front office areas
  • Maintain cleanliness in associate break room and associate bathrooms, including replenishing toilet paper and paper towels
  • Communicate suite status changes with front desk
  • Assist chief engineer in resolving guest maintenance complaints
  • Deliver cribs, roll-away beds, and related items to suites and record locations
  • Know and follow hotel emergency procedures
  • Accommodate guest special requests courteously
  • Provide information to guests regarding hotel and local area facilities and services
  • Ensure pool and spa maintenance meet manufacturer and local health regulations
