The role available is that of a Working Leader for housekeeping services at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and/or Navy Lodge properties located primarily at Naval Air Station North Island. This full-time federal position provides a salary ranging between $20.52 and $21.38 per hour. As a Working Leader, employees will serve a dual function, undertaking routine housekeeping tasks while also providing leadership and oversight to teams charged with maintaining cleanliness and order throughout guest rooms, public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, and exterior spaces.

The position is designed for individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to superior service standards within hospitality environments tailored to military clientele. Responsibilities include training new staff, conducting inspections, inventory management, and delivering exemplary guest relations. The role requires adherence to Navy Exchange Service Command policies and procedures, ensuring safety, security, and quality are maintained at all times. The Working Leader will be a key participant in daily housekeeping operations and also act as a liaison between front-line staff and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective communication.
