HonorHealth is a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Arizona, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering a culture built on warmth, compassion, and neighborly kindness. Established in 1927, HonorHealth has grown into one of the largest healthcare providers in the greater Phoenix area, serving a diverse community with a focus on health and well-being. The organization prides itself on employing highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on patients' lives through advanced expertise and compassionate service.
The Environmental Services (EVS) Lead position at HonorHealth's Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ, offers a unique opportunity for those looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. This full-time evening shift position (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards essential to a healthcare setting. As an EVS Lead, you will provide supervision and guidance to environmental services staff, ensuring that high-quality cleaning, waste management, and infection control practices are consistently upheld. Your leadership will directly contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with supervisors and managers to coordinate staffing levels, oversee daily schedules, and manage special projects. You will direct and train staff on the proper use of cleaning equipment, adherence to cleaning protocols, and compliance with state regulations. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, and managing resource allocation in alignment with departmental budgetary guidelines. Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with key personnel through ongoing communication and joint inspections, promoting a team atmosphere and responsive service delivery.
This position requires patience, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively while responding to the evolving needs of a fast-paced healthcare facility. HonorHealth provides an enriching work environment that values continuous training, employee development, and recognition of contributions. By joining HonorHealth's Environmental Services team, you become part of a mission-driven organization committed to excellence in healthcare support services and community well-being.
