The Housekeeping Lead position is an hourly, full-time role designed for an individual passionate about cleanliness and maintaining high standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping or a related field
- prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
- strong communication skills in English
- proficiency in basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory management
- knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to housekeeping
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, with some leadership responsibilities preferred
- strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for team and guest interactions
- keen attention to detail and the ability to uphold high cleanliness standards
- physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

- experience in using housekeeping equipment and familiarity with cleaning techniques and products is advantageous
Job Duties
- Supervise and support the daily operations of the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals
- ensure all rooms, common areas, and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest quality standards
- inspect completed work to ensure ongoing compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols
- organize schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff for efficient workflow management
- collaborate with other departments to ensure an excellent guest or customer experience
- train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing guidance to maintain productivity and quality
- monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate purchasing needs
- address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or guest concerns promptly
- ensure adherence to company policies, health, and safety regulations at all times
