Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, and cleaning
- Ability to lead and train housekeeping staff
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Valid state driver's license
- Food handling certification as applicable
- Ability to work full time with flexible schedule
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and security
- Willingness to undergo NHG housekeeping certification within six months
- Ability to perform duties during inclement weather or emergencies as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Six months housekeeping experience preferred
- Leadership or training experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and powered cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of safety measures and cleaning protocols
- Valid state driver's license preferred
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead and inspect housekeeping team members in performing duties
- Perform full range of housekeeping services including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, and exterior spaces
- Train new associates and answer questions on policies and procedures
- Maintain work schedules and communicate work status to supervisor
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms, carts, common areas, and laundry facilities
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and in-room amenities
- Handle guest and staff suggestions and complaints with tact and diplomacy
