Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in grounds maintenance or similar role
- Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is an asset
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina
- Basic record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the hotel grounds including, but not limited to driveways, pathways, patios, verandas
- Keep and maintain records of all chemical applications
- Ensure outdoor areas are clean and free of hazards
- Perform routine landscaping and grounds upkeep tasks
- Monitor and report any grounds-related maintenance issues
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Assist other departments as needed for grounds-related projects
