Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull carts and equipment as needed
- Comfortable working on guest room floors for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems (HotSOS, Opera, etc.) preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure adherence to Hyatt cleanliness and brand standards, with a primary focus on arrival and departure rooms
- Prioritize inspection of VIP rooms and early arrivals to ensure readiness for guest check-in
- Accurately update room status in the system and communicate room readiness to the Front Office
- Partner with Room Attendants to provide real-time feedback and coaching on cleanliness standards
- Identify trends in room deficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership
- Support the implementation and monitoring of inspection programs and quality initiatives (e.g., self-inspection programs, audits)
- Assist in maintaining consistent inspection coverage based on daily volume and occupancy
- Ensure proper stocking of linen closets, carts, and supply areas on assigned floors
- Report maintenance issues and discrepancies promptly through appropriate systems (e.g., HotSOS)
- Assist with special projects, deep cleaning initiatives, and operational support as needed
- Step in to assist with room cleaning during high-demand periods when necessary
