Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull carts and equipment as needed
  • Comfortable working on guest room floors for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems (HotSOS, Opera, etc.) preferred
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure adherence to Hyatt cleanliness and brand standards, with a primary focus on arrival and departure rooms
  • Prioritize inspection of VIP rooms and early arrivals to ensure readiness for guest check-in
  • Accurately update room status in the system and communicate room readiness to the Front Office
  • Partner with Room Attendants to provide real-time feedback and coaching on cleanliness standards
  • Identify trends in room deficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of inspection programs and quality initiatives (e.g., self-inspection programs, audits)
  • Assist in maintaining consistent inspection coverage based on daily volume and occupancy
  • Ensure proper stocking of linen closets, carts, and supply areas on assigned floors
  • Report maintenance issues and discrepancies promptly through appropriate systems (e.g., HotSOS)
  • Assist with special projects, deep cleaning initiatives, and operational support as needed
  • Step in to assist with room cleaning during high-demand periods when necessary
