The Housekeeping Inspector role at Hotel Saint Augustine offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the hotel's operations team. This position focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest room presentation, ensuring that each room meets Hyatt’s rigorous quality standards before guests arrival. As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will closely collaborate with housekeepers, housekeeping supervisors, and the front desk team, playing a vital role in communication and coordination. Your responsibilities will include inspecting rooms after they have been cleaned to verify that all areas meet the necessary cleanliness and appearance guidelines. This position requires energy, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively between housekeeping and front desk operations. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  • genuine commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to perform physical functions including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • flexible schedule including availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
