The role we are offering is for a Housekeeping Supervisor within the hotel. This position is hourly paid at $22.25 per hour and involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure rooms meet established brand and maintenance standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting housekeeping associates to perform at their best according to hotel policies and brand expectations. This position requires hands-on leadership including inspecting rooms, managing inventory, resolving staff concerns, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines including MSDS and OSHA standards.
In addition to supervising Room Attendants and potentially Laundry employees, the Housekeeping Supervisor schedules work hours, manages supplies, and supports cross-training initiatives such as assisting in the breakfast area to provide guest support when needed. This role is critical in maintaining hotel cleanliness standards and sustaining guest satisfaction by leading a team that carries out essential cleaning duties and adheres to the hotel's EarthView sustainability program.

Job Duties
- Train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
- inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
- issue supplies and equipment to associates
- inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards
- perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary
- confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies
- oversee training of Room Attendants with partnering with third party vendor if applicable
- screen job applicants and hire new employees
- supervise Laundry employees if applicable
- schedule employee work hours
- follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
- practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- perform other duties as requested by management
- practice safe work habits to ensure safety
- cross-train in the breakfast area to answer any guest related questions and assist with cleaning duties as necessary
