Job Description
The hospitality industry thrives on exceptional guest experiences, and our hotel is committed to delivering just that. Dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, our establishment stands as a premier destination for travelers seeking comfort and quality service. Our hotel operates with a strong emphasis on teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement, ensuring every guest's stay is memorable and enjoyable. As part of our commitment to excellence, we follow stringent quality and sustainability guidelines to uphold both brand and environmental standards.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.50 to $16.00 and an excellent opportunity for career growth within the company, with a clear path advancing from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and eventually to Executive Housekeeper. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that hotel rooms are impeccably maintained, fully stocked with supplies, and meet the high standards of both our hotel and brand. Beyond overseeing routine cleaning and inspections, this position requires coaching and training staff, managing inventory, scheduling employee shifts, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental guidelines such as our EarthView sustainability program.
This role demands strong leadership skills to train and support housekeeping associates, resolve personnel issues, and uphold company policies that reflect our core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. The Housekeeping Supervisor also collaborates with third-party vendors on training, supervises laundry operations if applicable, and ensures that all housekeeping activities contribute to exceptional guest satisfaction. Flexibility is key, as the position involves working varied hours, including holidays and weekends, and physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, and kneeling. The Housekeeping Supervisor also cross-trains in the breakfast area to assist with guest inquiries and cleaning duties, further enhancing the guest experience.
Overall, the Housekeeping Supervisor has a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational excellence that define our hotel. This position offers a rewarding environment focused on teamwork, respect, and career development within the hospitality industry. We encourage individuals with previous housekeeping and supervisory experience to apply and grow with us in a role that not only emphasizes operational tasks but also fosters leadership, guest interaction, and sustainability.
