The role of Houseperson on the housekeeping team at Disneyland Resort is integral to sustaining the cleanliness and comfort expected by guests. This position supports housekeepers in maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel property guest rooms and assisting with the delivery of guest items and special requests. As part of the housekeeping team, a houseperson helps create a home-away-from-home atmosphere, contributing directly to guests' overall experience. The role requires excellent verbal communication skills, a positive attitude focused on guest service, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Housepersons use personal protective equipment, hand tools such as mops and brooms, as well as power equipment and tools to perform their duties effectively. The job also requires flexibility in scheduling, as the resort operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with shifts potentially starting early in the morning and ending late at night or early the next day.
