The role of Housekeeping Houseperson at Hilton Salt Lake City Center is a full-time position that promises both dynamic work and career growth within the hospitality industry. This role is integral to maintaining the pristine condition of the hotel’s public spaces and ensuring guest satisfaction through cleanliness and prompt service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
- attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
- perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash, and emptying ashtrays
- greet guests in a friendly manner
- report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
- perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping and furniture moves
- deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
