The role of Houseperson at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, is a vital position within the housekeeping team, focused on maintaining the cleanliness, order, and presentation of the entire resort property. As a Houseperson, you will support Housekeepers by ensuring guest rooms and common areas remain spotless and welcoming. Responsibilities include transporting linens and towels, cleaning corridors, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing high-touch areas, and assisting with the delivery of guest requests such as cribs, air mattresses, and other amenities. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to use specialized housekeeping equipment to perform deep cleaning tasks. Working as part of a dedicated team, the Houseperson contributes to a positive guest experience by delivering exceptional service, maintaining safety standards, and upholding the core values of Aulani.

Full-time and part-time schedules are available, requiring flexibility in availability including overnight, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- Must use personal protective equipment including boots, gloves, and goggles
- ability to use hand tools like mops and brooms and power equipment and tools

Job Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- enthusiasm for interacting and helping guests and cast members
- ability to drive small powered equipment like golf carts and ride-on sweepers

- ability to read, write and speak English
- proficiency in using mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad
- knowledge of the resort and surrounding area
Job Duties
- Assist Housekeeper
- transport dirty linens and towels to the linen room and loading dock
- clean and dust corridors, walls, baseboards, vacuum carpets, clean windows, sanitize high touch areas and elevators
- deliver items requested by guests
- deliver machines, cribs, and air mattresses to guest rooms
- restock linen rooms and sweep and clean linen room floors daily
- clean vending and ice machines, trash and recycle rooms, laundry room floors, walls, and baseboards
- remove trash and recycling materials to appropriate areas throughout the day
- utilize specialized housekeeping equipment such as floor machines and extractors to deep clean guest room balconies and bathrooms
