This dedication has earned Hilton repeated recognition on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, demonstrating its status as a #1 best company to work for in the U.S. Hilton is not just a hotel company; it is a community that supports the professional and personal growth of its team members in a diverse and inclusive environment. Employees benefit from innovative programs and a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote mental and physical wellbeing and to ensure they thrive in their roles.

Working at Hilton means joining an award-winning workplace culture that values integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. The company’s suite of world-class brands supports a wide array of career paths in hospitality, making Hilton a destination for those seeking long-term career growth. The hotel’s culture encourages team members to bring their best every day, making every guest’s stay magical and memorable. Hilton’s commitment to its employees is reflected in its various recognition and rewards programs, extensive benefits, and a genuine focus on work-life balance.

The position of Houseperson at Hilton is an essential role that goes beyond maintaining cleanliness—it is about spreading hospitality through every interaction and task. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for keeping designated hotel areas spotless, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces. This involves performing daily cleaning tasks like dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash with attention to detail and pride.

In addition to cleaning duties, Housepersons at Hilton play a vital role in guest satisfaction by greeting guests warmly, assisting with room cleaning when needed, and delivering requested items. Managing supplies by stocking and organizing supply rooms ensures the smooth and efficient operation of housekeeping services. Special projects such as deep cleaning tasks—including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors—are scheduled periodically to maintain high standards of cleanliness and property upkeep.

The role also involves supporting property maintenance by identifying and reporting any repair needs or maintenance issues promptly, contributing to a well-kept and safe environment for everyone. Success in this role requires a passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership qualities, a strong sense of teamwork, ownership, and the ability to act with urgency—qualities that define Hilton’s core values.

Joining Hilton as a Houseperson means being part of a team that is dedicated to excellence and providing a rewarding career experience. Hilton supports career advancement through various educational opportunities, including debt-free education programs offering access to college degrees, professional certificates, digital literacy, and more. The company fosters a supportive environment with team member resource groups and mental health resources, promoting overall wellbeing.

Hilton’s generous benefits package for Housepersons includes medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance for employees and their families, paid time off with sick leave and vacation accrual, a 401(k) plan, pension contributions, and an employee stock purchasing program. Additional perks such as complimentary duty meals, the Go Hilton travel discount program, access to pay when needed through DailyPay, employee assistance programs, and recognition initiatives make Hilton a highly attractive workplace. This role offers a chance to grow within an internationally renowned company while making a positive impact on every guest’s experience and the broader Hilton community.
