Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in light maintenance and housekeeping work
- basic maintenance knowledge including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting
- proficiency in English language
- basic computer operation skills
- ability to operate light equipment and hand and power tools
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow procedures and solve problems
- adaptable to changes
- ability to work on-call during emergencies
- ability to maintain professional and friendly interactions with guests and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of light maintenance and housekeeping experience preferred
- basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting maintenance
- proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- basic computer skills to access internet data
- ability to operate light equipment such as pressure washers and carpet cleaners
- skilled in use of hand and power tools safely
- ability to follow written procedures
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to remain calm in conflict or stressful situations
- friendly and helpful demeanor toward guests and coworkers
Job Duties
- Perform light and preventive maintenance of the facility interior and exterior such as shampooing carpet, light electrical tasks like changing outlets or bulbs, light plumbing including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks, conduct studio preventive maintenance programs including painting and caulking, upkeep parking lots, maintain and clean public spaces, execute quarterly preventative maintenance, complete guest room preparation to brand standards, inspect guest rooms for pest or maintenance issues and address them, remove trash and treat soiled linens prior to removal, stage guest room furniture and supplies for cleaning efficiency, clean all assigned public areas daily to brand standards, perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding linens, maintain laundry facilities, cross-train and perform duties of Move-Out and Stay-Over Attendants, perform other duties as assigned
