The role offered is for a House Attendant, tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various areas within the resort facility. This position includes responsibilities such as cleaning guest rooms, lounges, bathrooms, lobbies, corridors, stairways, and other public areas to ensure a pristine and comfortable environment for guests. The House Attendant will also engage in duties like furniture arrangement, mattress turning, linen handling, restocking supplies, and the operation of cleaning machinery and equipment. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong ability to follow instructions and operate independently. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, allowing flexibility to suit the facility’s needs and schedules. Breaks include two short periods and a half-hour lunch, while overtime is rare, occurring only when necessary. The work environment is largely temperature controlled and well-lit, with some exposure to outdoor conditions. The House Attendant benefits from wearing protective uniforms and using specialized cleaning tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and safely.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • removes debris from and cleans driveways and garage areas
  • sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using brooms, mops, and powered scrubbing and polishing machines
  • deep-cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and drapery using industrial cleaning equipment
  • washes walls, ceilings, windows, door panels, sills, and woodwork
  • empties waste baskets and ash trays
  • empties trash in disposal area
  • replaces light bulbs
  • performs other duties as assigned by management
