We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Hallway Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. This role is integral in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest areas, contributing directly to the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

As a Hallway Cleaner, your responsibilities will include cleaning guest hallways and corridors, removing trash from various locations including guest rooms, housekeeping carts, and hallway trash cans, and depositing waste in the designated dumpster. You will be proficient in vacuuming and shampooing carpets, mopping floors, and thoroughly cleaning elevators and stairwells. Your duties extend to maintaining vending areas which include cleaning ice machines, candy machines, and soda machines. You will also be tasked with dusting fixtures such as light fixtures, fire extinguisher boxes, and railings, ensuring that every detail is attended to. Managing soiled linens by removing them from carts and transporting them to the laundry area and restocking clean linens on housekeeping carts are also essential elements of your role. Additionally, you will handle the cleaning and restocking of glasses used by guests, reinforcing the cleanliness standard throughout our property.

This position may require working varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the dynamic needs of hospitality service. The role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting weights between 10 to 25 pounds. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for coordinating with team members and ensuring operational excellence.
