The Housekeeping position at Legends Global represents a critical role within the housekeeping department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the multiple venues managed by the company. As a housekeeper at Legends Global, the incumbent is tasked with executing a broad range of janitorial duties that are vital for sustaining the venues' appearance, hygiene, and safety standards. Responsibilities span sweeping and vacuuming carpets, mopping and waxing floors, trash removal, cleaning restrooms including toilets and urinals, polishing mirrors, cleaning walls and trash cans, dusting furniture, and cleaning arena seating. The role also includes careful control and use of cleaning equipment and supplies such as brooms, mops, buckets, brushes, gloves, masks, and various cleaning solutions.

Candidates hired for this role should be prepared to work under occasionally adverse conditions including exposure to dust, fumes, wet floors, and noise. The physical demands of the position include the ability to lift, push, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods of up to 10 hours, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Flexibility in scheduling is important as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with the scheduling demands of events hosted within the facilities.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years janitorial custodial experience required
  • Must possess a valid United States Driver's License at time of appointment and throughout employment

Job Qualifications

  • Must successfully pass a driving record and criminal background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physical capability to lift push up to 50 lbs stoop bend climb stairs and work at heights up to 21 stories operate cleaning equipment as required
  • Able to stand for long periods of time up to 10 hours
  • Able to work nights weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Conduct all cleaning duties including sweeping and vacuuming carpets sweeping mopping and waxing floors trash pick up and removal cleaning toilets and urinals cleaning and shining mirrors cleaning walls and trash cans cleaning arena seats dusting furniture etc
  • Control of housekeeping equipment including but not limited to brooms mops buckets and wringer toilet brushes garbage bags push brooms cleaning cloths gloves mask and cleaning solutions etc
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
