Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized hospitality company renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through its extensive portfolio of hotels and resorts. With a strong presence in numerous countries, Hilton has established itself as a leader in the hotel industry, offering superior accommodations, hospitality services, and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers worldwide. As a brand, Hilton emphasizes quality, comfort, and customer satisfaction, continually striving to exceed guest expectations and maintain its prestigious reputation.

Hilton is currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join their team. This vital role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and hotel areas to uphold Hilton’s high standards. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms thoroughly, making beds, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure guests enjoy a pristine environment. They also vacuum floors, dust furniture, replenish towels and toiletries, remove trash, and restock housekeeping carts efficiently. Beyond routine cleaning, housekeepers must ensure all rooms meet Hilton's brand standards, are spotless, and ready for new guests arriving at the property.

In addition to daily cleaning tasks, housekeepers may also respond to special guest requests, demonstrating Hilton's dedication to exceptional service. They are expected to report any maintenance issues promptly, helping the hotel maintain its facilities in excellent condition. This position offers hourly wages ranging from $15 to $24, with added opportunities for overtime pay, weekend pay, and holiday pay, depending on the location and hotel. Many hotels also provide performance-based bonuses, allowing employees to earn additional income based on their efficiency and quality of work.

Housekeepers typically manage a set number of rooms per shift, complete deep cleaning tasks when required, organize housekeeping carts, replace linens systematically, and clean hallways as assigned. Maintaining cleaning equipment properly is also a crucial responsibility to ensure operational efficiency and a safe working environment. Employees must consistently follow Hilton's cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and hotel service standards to provide all guests with an outstanding experience.

Full-time housekeepers are often eligible for comprehensive benefits packages that may include health, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Additionally, the company often provides a 401(k) plan with a company match, paid time off, employee discounts on hotel stays, and tuition assistance programs for those pursuing further education. Hilton strongly supports career advancement, offering opportunities for housekeepers to move into supervisory roles or hotel management positions. Some locations also offer attendance bonuses, room quota bonuses, and shift differential pay, further recognizing and rewarding employee dedication and performance. Joining Hilton as a housekeeper offers a meaningful and rewarding career within a supportive and globally respected organization.
