Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Must wear uniform and maintain neat appearance
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to assist members politely and effectively
  • Willingness to perform heavy cleaning duties when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service experience advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment

Job Duties

  • Show up on time
  • Wear uniform and ensure it is clean and ironed
  • Maintain personal appearance
  • Greet members with a warm hello
  • Open doors for members entering or exiting rooms
  • Assist members with requests as able and seek management help when needed
  • Clean facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Dust and clean fixtures and equipment
  • Maintain pool and sanctuary cleanliness
  • Wash linens and towels
  • Empty trash in assigned areas
  • Service and supply locker rooms and restrooms
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Clean windows, glass, and mirrors
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Mix detergents according to specifications
  • Notify managers of repair needs
  • Requisition cleaning supplies
  • Perform heavy cleaning tasks such as washing walls and removing trash
