The Housekeeping Crew position at Oak View Group represents an essential role in ensuring that the facility environment remains clean, sanitary, safe, and organized to uphold the professional image and health standards for employees and visitors. This part-time role offers an hourly wage between $14.00 and $16.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. The Housekeeping Crew is responsible for performing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks across a variety of spaces including offices, common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and entryways. Team members adhere to strict cleaning schedules and utilize cleaning equipment and supplies properly to maintain exceptional facility cleanliness.
Key responsibilities include surface cleaning such as dusting desks, tables, shelves, and baseboards; glass cleaning of windows and doors in entry areas; kitchen and common area sanitization; floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hallways, workspaces, and other communal spaces; restroom sanitation with stocking of toiletries; waste management including emptying trash and recycling bins; upkeep of breakrooms including microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee stations; as well as monitoring and requesting cleaning supply inventories to ensure adequate stock. This role also expects reliable observation and reporting of facility damage or repair needs to building management.
Candidates are expected to have 1-2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, be capable of pushing and pulling heavy carts, lifting tables and chairs, and demonstrate strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe handling of chemical cleaning agents is essential. The ability to perform laundry duties such as washing and dry cleaning rags, mop heads, towels, and table coverings is required. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary given the facility’s operating demands. Reliability and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment are highly valued.
