The Housekeeping Crew Member role at Oak View Group is a key position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety at various event venues. This role involves performing custodial and cleaning duties before, during, and after events to ensure that facility standards are impeccably maintained. The position is hourly, paying $15.00 per hour, and offers part-time employees access to benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, and holidays based on the event calendar. Housekeeping Crew Members are tasked with routine facility cleanup, trash removal, and minor maintenance that contribute to creating a welcoming and safe environment for attendees. They work closely with the operations team to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, following protocols aligned with OSHA and the company’s internal guidelines. This contributes not only to the overall guest experience but also to the smooth operation of live events hosted at OVG properties.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience cleaning multiple facilities
  • working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment
  • ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision
  • ability to lift/push heavy objects
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • required to successfully complete onsite CPR and blood borne pathogen training

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Mix and prepare cleaning products
  • clean facility interior and exterior
  • vacuum, sweep, mop, clean, and wax floors
  • ensure a safe environment for patrons
  • remove liquids and debris from walkways during events
  • clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures
  • replenish supplies in restrooms
  • wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops
  • remove and dispose of debris from parking lots and walkways
  • empty waste receptacles
  • perform additional staff functions for events
  • report known or expected irregularities to immediate supervisor
  • follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines
  • perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
