The Housekeeping Coordinator role at Club Wyndham Canterbury Resort within Travel + Leisure Co. is a full-time position based in the heart of San Francisco, California. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and manage daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, service delivery, and safety compliance. The coordinator will oversee all housekeeping employees, including scheduling, supervising, and training to support operational efficiency. The role demands keen organizational skills as well as the ability to generate and analyze operational reports to enhance housekeeping department performance.

The Housekeeping Coordinator ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, including the new Global Harmonized System for chemicals (GHS) guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff. This position requires starting early in the morning, generally between 6:30 am and 7:30 am, and extends to afternoon hours with mandatory weekend and holiday shifts. The candidate will be expected to bring strong leadership and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism in appearance and communication, and protecting confidential information.

Compensation for this role generally starts at $27.00 per hour, with the rate determined by factors including experience, education, and skills. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports associates working 30 or more hours per week.
