As part of the housekeeping team, the individual will be responsible for monitoring room availability, prioritizing cleaning schedules, managing discrepancies in room status, and ensuring that rooms with a 'Do Not Disturb' status are respected and updated promptly. The role also requires preparing and distributing daily work assignments to housekeeping staff and maintaining accurate records related to room status and cleaning activities.

Critical to the role is acting as a liaison among departments to resolve issues related to room status, reporting maintenance concerns and safety hazards, and upholding all company safety policies. Attention to the uniform and professional appearance is also necessary, as is maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and protecting company property. The successful candidate will be expected to greet guests according to company standards, anticipate guest service needs, and contribute positively to maintaining high-quality service standards.

In addition to the operational duties, the role encourages fostering positive relationships within the team, effectively responding to employee concerns, and communicating clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
