Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to run reports and manage room status
  • ability to work full time
  • physically able to stand, walk, lift, and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • adherence to company safety and security policies
  • maintain professional appearance
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • basic computer literacy

Job Duties

  • Run sold room reports
  • verify room status
  • determine discrepant rooms
  • prioritize room cleaning
  • update status of departing guest rooms
  • assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
  • act as a liaison to coordinate Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with Front Desk
  • prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff
  • record, monitor, and update 'Do Not Disturb' rooms list
  • ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned timely
  • assign rush rooms and rooms previously on 'Do Not Disturb' list
  • complete required Housekeeping paperwork
  • follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • ensure clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • prepare and review written documents accurately
  • enter and locate work-related information using computers
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested
