The Clovis Campus Housekeeping position is a full-time opportunity designed for a motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a communal setting. This role is essential to ensuring that all church facilities reflect the high standards expected by Legacy Church, supporting a positive experience for church members, staff, and visitors. The person in this role will engage in a wide range of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment as necessary. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety protocols are critical components in this position.
Beyond general cleaning, the role involves routine inspection and replenishment of consumable supplies, proper handling of cleaning machinery, and assisting with general labor tasks such as furniture movement. Effective communication skills are valued, particularly in responding promptly to calls, emails, and texts within 24 hours, as well as reporting any damages, deficits, or safety concerns to supervisory staff. The role requires physical resilience as it involves lifting, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking, and candidates should demonstrate flexibility to work weekends and nights as necessary.

Job Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for long periods of time
- Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
- Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed

Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
- Apply necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces to effectively remove stains and dirt
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures related to cleaning tasks
- Carry out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment
- Execute general labor activities for special projects such as furniture movement and other assignments as required
- Carefully handle and operate all cleaning machinery according to protocol
- Return all phone calls, emails and texts within 24 hours
- Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits or safety issues
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Legacy Church standards
- Deal with reasonable complaints or requests with professionalism and patience
- Follow the policies and procedures as defined in Legacy Church Handbook
