Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment safely
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently
- reliable and punctual
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
- experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly advantageous
- knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
- familiarity with laundry procedures and handling cleaning supplies safely
- demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency
- background in hospitality management or housekeeper supervision is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas regularly
- conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces
- handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- assist with light cooking or food preparation duties when required for hospitality settings
- provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident needs promptly and professionally
- follow safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment at all times
