Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Good communication skills for guest interaction
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting during shifts

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of hotel guest rooms including changing bed linens and sanitizing surfaces
  • Restock supplies and maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas
  • Remove dirty linen and handle all trash, recycling, and biohazard disposal processes
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, carpet extractors, and steamers
  • Greeting guests and responding to their concerns or questions with professionalism
  • Identify and report potential hazards to management
  • Inspect equipment in guest rooms and report any items needing repair
  • Rotate inventory when receiving and distributing supplies
  • Control master keys and uphold the Key Control Policy
  • Assist with non-essential duties like operating laundry machines and maintaining housekeeping equipment
  • Support monthly inventory counts of linen, products, and office supplies
