The role of Housekeeping Attendant at Oak View Group is a critical part of maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that OVG is known for. This position involves utilizing various cleaning tools and agents, such as mops, brooms, vacuums, buckets, pails, disinfectants, and detergents, to clean offices, restrooms, and public spaces within the venue. The Housekeeping Attendant will also be responsible for waste disposal, floor care including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing, cleaning walls, windows, and various surfaces, as well as maintaining outdoor areas such as parking lots.

Job Duties

  • Work from general instructions, specifications and checklists
  • able to use a variety of tools and cleaning agents such as mops, brooms, vacuums, buckets, pails, disinfectants and detergents to clean offices, restrooms and other public areas
  • dispose of waste and garbage appropriately in designated locations
  • conduct daily inspection of areas of responsibility
  • maintain exterior of the facility such as sweeping parking lots and trash pickup
  • sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
  • wash walls, windows, stainless steel, countertops and woodwork
  • clean restrooms and replenish supplies
  • remove stains, clean and extract carpet
  • dust, polish, arrange and move furniture and equipment
  • use hand tools or small powered equipment applicable to the work being performed
  • perform other duties as assigned
