This particular position is located on San Nicolas Island, a unique and isolated location, where the successful candidate will be provided with on-island housing to ensure convenience and comfort. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform comprehensive housekeeping services at a Navy Gateway Inns and Suites or Navy Lodge property. This involves a complete range of cleaning tasks including guest rooms, public interior spaces, storage areas, laundry rooms, and exterior environments.

Housekeeping duties encompass vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving furniture, polishing, cleaning, and removal of debris and trash. The employee will also handle the transportation and management of clean and dirty linens and towels. The position requires proficiency in using both hand and powered cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

This role demands a high level of attention to detail, physical effort in moving furniture, and the ability to maintain cleanliness in all areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
