This position is for a dedicated Housekeeper at a Navy Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge property managed by NGIS PT LOMA. Job Duties

  • Cleans guest rooms and other assigned areas
  • operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, waxer and polisher
  • empties wastebaskets, dusts, waxes, and polishes room furniture
  • washes walls, partitions, air vents, disinfects and deodorizes toilet bowls, lavatories
  • cleans bathroom and kitchen areas
  • cleans iron and ironing board
  • ensures proper functionality of luggage racks and availability of hangers
  • ensures TVs, alarm clocks, and in-room phones are clean and operational
  • places proper amenities in rooms
  • removes and replaces bed linen
  • inspects mattresses and pull-out sofas
  • moves and re-positions beds
  • greets and welcomes guests maintaining outstanding guest relations
  • ensures guest privacy and security
  • cleans corridors, stairways, guest laundry patios and balconies
  • shampoos rugs and carpets
  • performs deep cleaning as required
  • maintains cleanliness and order of storage rooms
  • communicates room status to supervisor
  • accomplishes minor repairs and reports major issues
  • cleans and inspects exterior spaces
  • assists with receipt and storage of supplies
  • responsible for passkey and other keys
  • reports unusual circumstances immediately
  • reports lost and found items
  • sets up and cleans self-service breakfast bar
  • completes safety security training
  • maintains a clean and safe environment
  • performs laundry operations
  • may travel between lodging facilities
