Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks
Willingness to work flexible hours
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Understanding of safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures
Clean equipment, surgical areas, storage areas, furniture, and beds
Clean spills and flooded areas
Deep clean and sanitize rooms, mattresses, vents, and bathrooms
Operate electrical cleaning equipment
Strip, clean, and polish floor and wall surfaces
Vacuum carpeted areas
Dilute cleaning solutions
Collect and dispose of waste including bio-hazardous medical waste according to policies and procedures
Ensure bio-hazardous waste is stored and locked in approved areas
Coordinate housekeeping functions with other departments
Perform other duties as required
