We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team in a non-management position at The Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park. This role is essential to maintaining the iconic "gold standards" of The Ritz-Carlton, ensuring that every guest enters a room that feels like a "home away from home." You will be instrumental in creating a perfect, immaculate environment where each detail counts, from the precise arrangement of pillows and bedding to the spotless cleanliness of every surface. The impact of your work extends beyond cleanliness; it directly influences guests’ satisfaction, comfort, and their overall experience, encouraging repeat visits and fostering client loyalty. In this role, you will be responsible for renewing guest room supplies, making beds with meticulous care, folding linens, and managing the removal of trash and soiled items. You will greet guests with a warm and courteous demeanor, responding to their requests promptly and professionally. Your attention to detail will shine through in the organization and tidying of desks, furniture, and appliances, as well as in the dusting, polishing, and removing of marks from walls and furnishings. Floor care, including vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard surfaces, will also form a fundamental part of your duties. The job requires the capability to move and lift up to 25 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform. Prior to employment, successful completion of safety training and certification is required.
