This Full-Time Housekeeping and Laundry position at JW Marriott Bloomington offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.32 to $20.38. The role is non-management and does not require prior supervisory experience. The Housekeeping team plays a pivotal role in crafting memorable guest experiences by ensuring immaculate cleanliness and organization of guest rooms — the mere sight of a perfectly arranged room instills a sense of home away from home for guests staying briefly or for extended periods. The role demands attention to every detail, from impeccably made beds and spotless mirrors to perfectly placed pillows and dust-free furnishings. Every effort directly contributes to guest satisfaction, fostering loyalty and the trust that guests place in JW Marriott when choosing their accommodations.

In this role, employees are responsible for replacing guest courtesies and room supplies, making beds, folding linens, removing trash and soiled linens, and attending to guest requests with warmth and professionalism. Additional tasks include organizing desk items, furniture, and appliances, as well as dusting, polishing surfaces, removing marks from walls and furniture, vacuuming carpets, and managing floor-cleaning duties. Candidates must be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and be capable of lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds. A clean and professional uniform is required to maintain JW Marriott’s high standards.
