This position is for a full-time, non-management Substitute Housekeeper role within the Housekeeping & Laundry department at the New York location. The pay range for this position is $30.24 to $40.32 per hour. This role is critical in ensuring the impeccable condition of guest rooms, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and loyalty. The housekeeper will also dust, polish, clean walls and furniture, vacuum carpets, and perform floor cleaning tasks.

Successful candidates will embody a courteous and guest-oriented demeanor with a team-first attitude and a keen eye for detail. The job requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for long periods, and present a professional appearance with a clean uniform. Safety training and certification will be required prior to employment. No prior supervisory experience or related work experience is necessary, and a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. This role offers a warm, inclusive environment where the employee's contribution is valued and recognized.

Joining The Ritz-Carlton means becoming part of a prestigious brand and an extensive network of Marriott International properties worldwide. Employees at The Ritz-Carlton undertake the Gold Standards, including the employee promise, credo, and service values. These standards are the foundation of the company culture, which strives to make every day better than the last. The company actively promotes equal opportunity and celebrates diversity and inclusion in all its forms, ensuring a welcoming environment for all associates.

In summary, this Substitute Housekeeper position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences in one of the world’s most respected luxury hotel brands.
