In this role as a Houseman during day and evening shifts, you will be a critical part of the guest experience at the hotel. Your primary focus will be maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel, contributing to a memorable visit for every guest. The position goes beyond basic cleaning duties; it is designed to empower you to take initiative and prioritize the needs of the guests and hotel. This includes delivering guest requests promptly, restocking housekeeping carts, cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, and performing other housekeeping tasks as necessary. You will be expected to follow safety protocols, company policies, and professional standards in appearance and communication.

The role requires substantial physical activity including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. This hands-on approach is key to maintaining the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Houseman is expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and respectful of the guest environment, ensuring every space in the hotel supports an exceptional guest experience.
