The role of Housekeeping Associate at Carillon Senior Living is integral to maintaining the high standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall environment quality within the Health Center. This position is hourly paid, offering between $12 and $15 an hour, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks. Working under the general direction of the Environmental Services Manager, this role demands attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols. The associate will be expected to carry out housekeeping duties across various assigned rooms and common areas, using proper chemicals and tools as prescribed by the community’s standards. An essential part of the job involves managing supplies and equipment properly, adhering to the schedule, and cooperating with the team to uphold the community’s reputation for exceptional hospitality. In addition to cleaning, the Housekeeping Associate will participate in training sessions that focus on health, safety, and service excellence. Job Requirements

- Must maintain resident confidentiality at all times
- Must have an understanding of general cleaning practices
- Must be able to complete required duties within time allowed
- Must have the ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
- Will exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Must have at least a 9th grade education
- Six months to one-year experience housekeeping and/or cleaning preferred

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition
- Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned
- Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
- Clean, dust, sweep, and mop assigned rooms when scheduled
- Store chemicals and equipment as directed
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
