We are currently looking to expand our team by hiring a Housekeeping Aide who will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that our healthcare environment remains safe, sanitary, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeping Aide will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, and mopping. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The shift for this position is Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, with additional opportunities to cover vacation and other vacant shifts, providing flexibility and extra hours when needed. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive team setting and contribute directly to patient care by ensuring a clean and safe environment. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Prior health-care experience preferred
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing supplies, and mopping
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Make independent decisions regarding housekeeping tasks when necessary
  • Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and patients
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Cover vacations and vacant shifts as needed
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and effectively
