As part of the Brandon Wilde team, employees contribute to a meaningful work culture where every member is empowered to perform at their best to exceed expectations. The organization strongly emphasizes investing in its staff, recognizing that the future of senior living depends on fostering growth, professionalism, and teamwork among its workforce.
The position available at Brandon Wilde is for a Housekeeping and Laundry Lead, a role critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the community for its residents. This is a full-time, hospitality-focused position with a competitive pay rate of up to $15 per hour. The work schedule primarily spans Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with an expectation of weekend availability to meet the ongoing needs of the community. This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering excellent service and looking to take on leadership responsibilities within a supportive, engaging work environment.
The Housekeeping and Laundry Lead will be responsible for supervising and training the Environmental Services team, ensuring work assignments are efficiently coordinated to maximize productivity and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. This role involves active participation in house calls, problem resolution, and direct involvement in housekeeping duties when needed. The lead will plan, organize, and direct departmental programs and activities to ensure that all areas of the community—including apartments, common spaces, kitchens, and bathrooms—are cleaned and maintained meticulously.
In addition to day-to-day operational tasks, the lead will assist in developing and maintaining housekeeping policies and procedures, conduct monthly inspections, and make recommendations to the administration regarding department operations. This ensures compliance with company standards and continuous improvement of services provided. The role demands a proactive approach to managing environmental services, collaboration with other facility departments, and effective communication with staff and residents. It offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where hospitality meets compassionate senior care, making a positive impact on the lives of a valued community.
