Job Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Effective communication skills
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Willingness to work Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Plan, organize and direct the Environmental Services Department programs and activities to ensure that the organization is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable manner
- Coordinate housekeeping and laundry services with other facility departments and agencies
- Assist in developing and maintaining written housekeeping policies and procedures
- Ensure that department personnel follow department policies and utilize equipment and supplies effectively
- Make recommendations to the Administrator as necessary concerning the operation of the Housekeeping Department
- Perform general housekeeping duties in apartments and common areas, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting all cleared flat surfaces
- Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor
- Evaluate the effectiveness of supplies and equipment used
