Job Requirements

must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for at least the past five years
must be able to travel within the continental United States
must provide proof of a negative tuberculosis test within the past 12 months or consent to screening
employment contingent upon successful completion of credit check if applicable
motor vehicle record check if applicable
drug test
occupational health physical and lift test
criminal and government background checks
signed arbitration and confidentiality agreements

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
basic knowledge of housekeeping and janitorial duties
understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices
understanding of laundry procedures
knowledge of cleaning agents, supplies, and equipment
exceptional organizational skills
ability to read, write, and speak English
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

maintain cleanliness of the facility including dusting and mopping floors and walls
vacuum all carpeted areas
wipe and sanitize all surfaces
empty trash and replace liners
clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, door handles, glass doors, walls, and flooring
launder and fold linens
maintain cleaning logs
collect and tag textiles
help maintain accurate inventory of linens
report on supply shortages to manager
seek cost savings in daily operations
follow site specific policies and procedures
perform other duties as assigned
