- high school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- one year previous institutional cleaning experience preferred
- one year customer service experience preferred
- vocational training and certificate preferred

Job Duties
- perform housekeeping and related activities with focus on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and general environment
- demonstrate proficiency in basic cleaning skills used in patient, staff, office, clinic, or visitor areas
- demonstrate knowledge and skill in safe use of chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques, and infection control methods
- demonstrate ability to speak, write, and understand English
- competently handle and remove medical and hazardous waste
- maintain hospital environment at highest level of cleanliness from appearance and infection control standpoint
