This opportunity is for a Part-Time Housekeeping team member, a non-management role that involves a variety of essential duties to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. The position offers a competitive wage of $25.50 per hour and entails working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and responsiveness are critical. The role requires quick and efficient handling of guest requests and coordination with other departments for urgent repairs. It also involves routine housekeeping tasks such as removing debris from hallways, organizing furniture in guest rooms, and maintaining cleaning equipment.
The ideal candidate will work closely with team members to support the achievement of common goals, adhere strictly to quality assurance standards, and comply with all company safety policies. Physical demands of the role include the ability to lift and move objects, bend, reach overhead, and navigate stairs and confined spaces safely and effectively. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to respond promptly to guest requests
- physical ability to lift objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and more with help
- ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods during a shift
- capability to navigate stairs, inclines, and confined spaces
- commitment to maintaining professional appearance and conduct
- willingness to complete safety training and certifications
Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping experience preferred

- good physical condition to perform lifting, bending, and reaching tasks

Job Duties
- Respond quickly to guest and department requests
- identify and report preventative or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- place caution signs
- contact other departments for urgent repairs
- organize furniture in guest rooms as needed
- remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
- clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
