Job Requirements

Two years institutional housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare environment
ability to demonstrate patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly
ability to read and write English
good communication skills
ability to work as a team player

ability to evaluate and interpret information for decision making
ability to follow oral and written directions

Job Duties

Knowledge of equipment and supplies
sort and fold laundry
ensure lint filters are changed at least once every day
place folded laundry in designated area
separate colored and white laundry
load laundry into washer machine and dryer
maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to director
perform other job related duties as assigned
accept supervision and direction as needed
work as a team player when interacting with other members of team
