At the Tampa EDITION Hotel located at 500 Channelside Dr, we are looking for passionate, extroverted, and dedicated individuals to join our housekeeping team. This role is full-time, non-management, with a preference for evening shift candidates, offering an engaging and supportive work environment. As part of our housekeeping and laundry department, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall presentation of our hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring that every visitor experiences the signature EDITION hospitality.
The Housekeeping role at EDITION Hotels is much more than cleaning; it requires attention to detail, strong coordination, and a proactive approach. Employees respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other hotel departments to resolve maintenance issues, ensuring safety and satisfaction. Tasks include organizing and arranging furniture, removing items from hallways, maintaining cleaning equipment, and adhering strictly to safety policies. The position demands physical agility to perform tasks like reaching, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds independently, and occasionally lifting heavier items with assistance. Additionally, the role emphasizes teamwork, respect among colleagues, and commitment to quality standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to respond quickly to requests and work evening shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds independently and assist with heavier loads
- Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Capacity to work standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for prolonged periods
- Ability to maneuver in confined or elevated spaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests
- Identify and report maintenance or safety issues in public areas and guest rooms
- Place precaution signs as needed
- Coordinate directly with other departments for urgent repairs
- Organize and arrange furniture in guest rooms
- Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas including waste and linens
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
