The Housekeeping staff member plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the hotel environment. This individual is responsible for responding promptly to guest and departmental requests, identifying and reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring all public areas and guest rooms meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. Duties include setting up guest rooms with requested furniture, removing debris and trash from hallways, and managing cleaning equipment efficiently. Safety is paramount; team members follow company protocols, complete safety training, and handle materials such as flammables according to established guidelines.

This role demands physical stamina and dexterity, with expectations to lift, push, pull, and carry objects within specified weight limits, operate housekeeping carts over varying surfaces, and perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and climbing ladders. The Housekeeping staff member is also expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
