This full-time, non-management Housekeeping and Laundry role is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, at the 2141 Lindau Lane location. Offering an hourly wage range of $18.32 to $20.38, this position provides free meals and is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role focuses on maintaining public areas and guest rooms, handling maintenance requests promptly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed meticulously.

As a Housekeeping and Laundry team member at JW Marriott, your responsibilities include responding quickly to guest and departmental requests, identifying and reporting preventive maintenance issues, and effectively communicating repair needs to relevant departments. You will be tasked with organizing furniture in guest rooms, removing items from hallways, and managing cleaning equipment maintenance and storage. The role requires physical agility and the ability to manage various materials and equipment safely.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • ability to report maintenance and safety issues
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company property
  • ability to work full time
  • willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and prolonged standing
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Respond quickly to guest and departmental requests

  • remove items from hallways and transport to service areas including waste, room service trays, newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
