As a Houseperson at Aqua Aston Hospitality, you play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the resort. The primary responsibilities of this role involve cleaning and maintaining designated areas like guest rooms, offices, and storage rooms, folding and cleaning laundry for resort facilities, delivering guest-requested items, handling linen deliveries and pickups, and ensuring after-hours housekeeping services meet guest satisfaction. A Houseperson at AAH is also expected to welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, interact professionally with colleagues and guests, contribute to team goals, and adhere strictly to company policies and safety procedures.

Working as a Housekeeping Aide at Aqua Aston Hospitality requires flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends. Physical demands of the role include reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and standing or walking for extended periods. The job also involves lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 50 pounds without assistance. Candidates may be subject to background and drug screening in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas including guest rooms, offices, and storage rooms
  • Cleaning and folding laundry for resort rooms, fitness club, and spa
  • Delivering guest-requested items such as additional linens, hair dryers, kitchen items, additional bedding, or childcare items
  • Receiving delivery of clean linen and preparing soiled linen for pick up
  • Ensuring satisfaction of after-hours housekeeping services, room touch-ups, and guest-requested items
  • Welcoming and greeting guests and anticipating and addressing their needs
  • Interacting with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
